Return and Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your item. This is in addition to any statutory cancellation rights you may have as a consumer.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unwashed, unused, with any tags, and in its original packaging where applicable. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return may not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send instructions on how and where to send your package. For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless we tell you otherwise. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot refund items that are not received.

Cancellations

Because our T-shirts are made to order, we begin processing orders as quickly as possible. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us at hello@theunshop.com as soon as possible.

Where production has not yet started, we will do our best to cancel your order. If production has already started, cancellation may not be possible. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if the item is defective, damaged, misprinted, or if you receive the wrong item.

Email hello@theunshop.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging where relevant, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, misprinted, or not as described, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, such as a replacement, repair, refund, or return shipping where applicable.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns for items that have been worn, washed, used, damaged after delivery, or returned outside the return window. We also cannot accept returns for gift cards.

This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and place a separate order for the new item once your return has been accepted.

UK and European consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or European Union, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without giving a reason. You then usually have another 14 days to return the item after telling us you want to cancel.

For change-of-mind cancellations, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless we tell you otherwise. We will refund the standard outbound delivery cost where required by law. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, we will only refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option available.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, we will refund you to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or evidence that you have sent it back, where applicable.

Please remember that it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
